My Journey to Overcoming Procrastination and Gaining Confidence
Back in 2019, I was really struggling. I was underweight, not very confident, and I felt like I was missing out on a lot of opportunities. That’s when I decided to dive into personal development. I started watching videos, reading books, taking courses, and listening to podcasts. All these things helped a bit, but something was still off.
I’d get really excited about all my plans. I’d imagine this amazing life I could have and feel great about it. But then, when it was time to actually get to work, I’d just... stop. I’d put things off. This wasn’t just once or twice; it happened with everything I tried to start – a YouTube channel, a blog, even trying to get a small business off the ground.
I tried all the self-help tips you could think of, but nothing stuck. They just didn’t work the way everyone said they would.
Then, everything started to change when I began studying psychology. Instead of asking "how can I stop putting things off?", I started asking "why do I keep doing this?" That was the game changer. Understanding the real reasons behind my procrastination helped me find solutions that actually worked for me.
Now, fast forward to 2024, I’ve gained 19 KGs of healthy weight, I’ve got a master’s degree in Psychology, and I’m running my own business with SHYFT. I’m finally living the life I dreamed of, and I have full control over my time.
It took me four years of trial and error to get here, but you don’t have to take that long. In this three-hour workshop, I’m going to share all that I’ve learned about the human mind. I’ll give you the tools to help you stop procrastinating and start living the life you want.
